BBPG endorse the Boston Bypass Independents Group.
Following the Boston Standards recent front page article on the Boston Bypass Independents, the Boston Bypass Pressure Group would like to publicly endorse the campaign to elect Boston Bypass Independent candidates at next Mays local elections.
It has always been our view that party politics have no place in local government, serving only to encourage political wrangling, entrenched positions and negativity, the effects of which are detrimental to the needs of the community.
It is for those reasons that we believe the issue of Boston’s failing road infrastructure has failed to be addressed and why the Boston Bypass Pressure Group successfully campaigned at last years County Council elections and will again campaign and support the Boston Bypass Independents at the next Borough Council elections in May.
If this town is to thrive and capitalize on the opportunities presented in the future, the road infrastructure must be addressed. We believe this can only be achieved by Councillors who are prepared to put aside party affiliations and independently put the interest of Boston and the surrounding district first.
We would therefore urge the Boston people to join us in bringing about this sea change by supporting these candidates in the elections and where ever possible helping us in the campaign to get them elected.
